Terms of Service

These terms govern general and self-serve access to the Sasha Rec platform. If your organisation has signed a separate Order Form and Platform Agreement with us, that signed agreement (including its Data Processing Agreement) governs your use and prevails over these terms wherever they conflict. These terms otherwise apply to your use of our website and application.

Who you are agreeing with

By creating an account or using the service you (the “recruiter”) agree to these terms with Sasha Rec AB, company registration number 559553-3851, c/o Recommended By, Epicenter, Malmskillnadsgatan 44 A, 111 57 Stockholm, Sweden (“Sasha”, “we”, “us”). If you accept on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

The service, in plain terms

Sasha is an AI-assisted recruitment screening platform. An AI assistant conducts a short, competency-based screening conversation with a candidate you invite, and afterwards produces a per-criterion evaluation with evidence quotes and scores for you to review.

It is decision support, not a decision. Sasha provides evidence, not verdicts. The service does not automatically advance or reject candidates and does not make solely-automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects (Article 22 GDPR). You make every recruitment decision after a meaningful human review. Sasha does not perform biometric identification or emotion recognition and does not infer personality traits or protected characteristics.

Your responsibilities

When you use Sasha to screen candidates you are the data controller. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for screening, giving candidates the required transparency information before the call (including that an AI system is used — we provide a candidate notice you can use), exercising genuine human oversight of the AI output before any decision, not eliciting or inviting special-category data, and using the service lawfully, including under employment and anti-discrimination law. You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

You will not use the service unlawfully; resell it to third parties other than your authorised users; reverse engineer, copy, scrape, or create derivative works; upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content; attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service; or use the AI output to make solely-automated decisions about individuals without the required human review.

Personal data

How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy. For candidate screening data you are the controller and Sasha is the processor under a Data Processing Agreement. The providers we rely on are listed on our service providers page.

Intellectual property

The service — including its software, screening and scoring logic, prompts, competency framework, and documentation — and all related intellectual property rights belong to Sasha or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service as intended; no other rights are granted. The service runs third-party foundation models under licence. You retain rights in the content you upload, subject to the licence we need to operate the service.

Early access and “as is”

The service is offered during an early-access phase and is provided “as is” and “as available”, without uptime or service-level guarantees, and may change or be withdrawn. To the extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. The service supports but does not replace your own judgement and decisions. This does not limit our statutory obligations as provider of the AI system, nor any mandatory rights you have by law. Where you have signed an Order Form, the liability and warranty terms of that agreement apply instead.

Suspension, changes, and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service unlawfully or in a way that may harm the service or others. You may stop using the service at any time. We may update the service and these terms; we will give notice of material changes before they take effect, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance. Terms that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, data protection, governing law) survive termination.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the substantive law of Sweden. Disputes shall be settled by the Swedish courts, with Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt) as the court of first instance.
