How this interview works
Who am I talking to?
Me, Sasha. I'm an AI interviewer. I'm told what the role needs and I ask about it. I'm not told how your answers will be judged, so nothing is being graded while we talk.
Why an AI, and not a person?
So every candidate gets the same attention and the questions worth asking, at a time that suits them. Your answers get read for what they say, not for who happened to take the call. The hiring team gets back to you sooner.
How are my answers assessed?
After we talk, a separate evaluation reads the transcript against the role's requirements and writes down what you said that speaks to each one, quoting you. Anything we didn't get to is marked unknown, not weak. It produces no score and no verdict. The hiring team reads it alongside everything else they know about you and makes the decision.
What happens to the audio?
It's turned into text as we talk and isn't kept. The transcript and the evaluation go to the hiring team and the people who run Sasha. They're deleted after the hiring team's retention period, by default two years after the call.
Can I pause, redo an answer, or skip a question?
Yes. Say “I need a moment”, “can I come back to that”, or “ask that differently”, and I will. Skip anything you'd rather not answer.
What if I'd rather not do this with an AI?
Ask the recruiter who invited you for another format: a call with a person, email, a different time. There's no penalty for asking.
